Porto Koufo

  • Location: Southwesternmost point of Sithonia.

  • Features: Natural harbor, narrow semicircular sandy beach, cold crystal-clear waters that deepen quickly, a setting of wild beauty with surrounding hills.

  • Access: Very easy, right on the main road.

  • Special characteristics: Small coves, pebbly areas, ideal for anchoring, fishing, and spearfishing.

Tristinika

  • Location: Southwestern tip of Sithonia, 19 km south of Neos Marmaras.

  • Features: Large beach over 1 km long, wide, with coarse white sand and waters that deepen quickly.

  • Access: Relatively easy, with a dirt road in the final section; signage is moderate.

  • Special characteristics: Mostly unorganized beach with a partially organized section; landmark beach bar “ETHNIK.”

Karydi

  • Location: Northeastern Sithonia, in the seaside settlement of Vourvourou.

  • Features: Unorganized beach with fine white sand, turquoise waters, golden shoreline, surrounded by pine trees and rocks.

  • Access: Easy access via an asphalt road.

  • Special characteristics: Snack bar, dirt parking area, ideal for relaxation and photography.

Trani Ammouda (Livrohio)

  • Location: Northeastern Sithonia, near the Gulf of Panagia and Agios Nikolaos.

  • Features: Large and wide beach with coarse sand, crystal-clear waters, family-friendly.

  • Access: Convenient, via the main road with nearby signage.

  • Special characteristics: Both organized and unorganized sections; remnants of a Byzantine fort at the northern end.

Kavourotrypes

  • Location: Eastern Sithonia, opposite Mount Athos.

  • Features: A cluster of small coves with pure white sand, turquoise-blue waters, secluded spots resembling private pools.

  • Access: Via dirt road plus a short walk; signage is moderate.

  • Special characteristics: Unorganized, with exotic, “primitive” beauty, sheltered by a pine forest.

Toroni

  • Location: Southwestern tip of Sithonia.

  • Features: Long beach over 2 km, with fine sand or pebbles, offering both organized and more secluded sections.

  • Access: Easy, via a coastal road lined with accommodations, tavernas, and shops.

  • Special characteristics: At the left end lies the Lykithos peninsula, with a Byzantine fort and remains of a church.

Armenistis

  • Location: Central Sithonia, on the eastern coast.

  • Features: Large, wide beach with golden sand, dense pine forest surroundings, and tropical-looking waters.

  • Access: Easy, via the main road with appropriate signage.

  • Special characteristics: Well-established campsite; organized beach with free space on the left for a quieter swim.

Akti Kalogrias

  • Location: Northwestern Sithonia, between Agios Ioannis and Elia, 7 km south of Nikiti.

  • Features: Blonde sandy beach, calm sheltered waters, lush surroundings with pine trees.

  • Access: Very easy, close to the main road.

  • Special characteristics: Small rocky islet in the bay (about 200 meters from the shore), organized with sunbeds and umbrellas, rocks ideal for diving and exploration.

Lagonisi

  • Location: Northeastern Sithonia, between Ormos Panagias and Vourvourou.

  • Features: Blonde sandy beach with calm turquoise-green waters.

  • Access: Easy, with paid parking available.

  • Special characteristics: Large bay, organized with sunbeds and umbrellas.

Manasu Beach Bar

  • Location: Eastern Sithonia, near Akti Oneirou, Sarti / Agios Nikolaos.

  • Features: Beach with fine sand and clear green-blue waters; partly organized with sunbeds and umbrellas, and partly more “free” and unspoiled.

  • Access: Easy, with parking available; requires a descent via a dirt road of about 800 meters.

  • Special characteristics: Beach bar offering coffee, food, and drinks, music, comfortable areas for relaxation; combined with a camping area for staying right by the sea.

Fava Beach

  • Features: Beach with small stones and sand, unorganized without sunbeds.

  • Access: Easy, with parking available.

  • Special characteristics: Cove between rocks, suitable for diving; beautiful scenery and sunsets.
